TINTED LENSES
The optimal tint for all requirements
FOUR MAIN TINTS
Leica Eyecare lenses come in brown, green, grey and black, as well as seven different shades and two graduations.
-Brown is a warm tint that emphasizes contrasts thanks to its very bright perception. This tint is recommended for nearsighted people, in particular.
-Green reduces light intensity, without diminishing colour perception. This tint is suitable for all prescriptions..
-Grey is primarily recommended for farsighted people. It ensures exceptional colour perception in all lighting conditions..
-Black is suitable for all wearers who are exposed to very intense light. This tint ensures colours that are true to reality.
Leica Eyecare offers two different graduations for each tint to meet the demands of all wearers of lenses.
-The classic graduation (85% to 0%) for a purely aesthetic effect..
-The medium graduation (85% to 35%) for those who are looking for solid eye protection, which is ensured by the darker colour in the lower section of the lens.
The Leica Eyecare lenses with classic tint are treated with Aquadura® Vision ou Vision Pro.
Grey photochromic – Cycling

TINTS TAILORED TO SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Whether you’re a mountain biker or cyclist, the grey tint will offer you exceptional colour perception in all lighting conditions. These lenses also combine the benefits of polarizing filters with the self-tinting function of photochromic lenses, allowing you to enjoy optimal protection from reflections and continuous adjustment to changes in light intensity on the road or in the woods.
Golf enthusiasts can choose from two tints for different lighting conditions:
-The orange-coloured tint with 40% absorption of visible light for weak light.
-The copper-coloured tint with 60% absorption for bright light.
Both tints offer an anti-UV filter and optimize perception of depths and nuances out on the green.
We also offer two tints for those of you who are shooting enthusiasts, depending on whether you practise your sport in natural or artificial light:
-The khaki tint with 76% absorption of visible light features an anti-UV filter for shooting in sunlight..
-The yellow tint with 12% absorption for shooting in artificial light.
Both tints optimize perception of contrasts and colours.
The perfect choice for skiers! The reflective grey tint promotes exceptional colour perception in all lighting conditions. These lenses feature an anti-UV filter and are polarizing. As a result, they offer maximum protection from sunlight (level 4 with 93% absorption of visible light).
Sailing enthusiasts, with the reflective and graduation grey tint, you can effortlessly differentiate between all colours regardless of the lighting conditions. The upper and lower sections of the lens are darker and therefore offer optimal sun protection for views close up and in the distance (94% absorption of visible light). You maintain a brighter view in the middle of the field of vision with 70% absorption. These lenses also boast a polarizing filter and an anti-UV filter.
The Drive lenses come in three different colours: brown, green and grey.
These three colours are available in five tint intensities, ranging from 12% to 85%. The brown and grey lenses also come in photochromic (self-tinting) versions. The intensity of the tint therefore varies automatically depending on the strength of the sun, even from behind the windshield.
The many adjustment options, which also include the option of polarizing lenses, ensure you’re able to enjoy optimal driving comfort.
All these tinted lenses also feature Aquadura® surface treatment.
Mirror
Flash mirror
MIRROR AND FLASH MIRROR TINTS
All Flash Mirror and Mirror tints feature the Aquadura® Vision Inside coating, which makes them resistant to water, grease and dust (antistatic). Thanks to the Anti-reflection coating on the inside surface, this coating eliminates parasitic reflections, while also allowing fogged-up lenses to clear up again faster..
Lenses with the Mirror tint are recommended for situations with very bright light.
The Flash Mirror tint creates a bright, shiny effect on the lens and thus minimizes any irritating glare.
Aesthetically speaking, this variety of tints offers a whole host of potential colour combinations for frames and lenses.
These tints also provide a certain degree of anonymity for the wearer, as the Mirror tint conceals the eyes behind the lenses.
