The lenses of the Variovid Volterra series feature the Aquadura® Vision Pro coating. The Aquadura® coating technology has been used for decades primarily to protect Leica binoculars, whose optical components are subjected to the effects of water, dirt and damage.
This comprehensive protective coating is now also used on Variovid lenses for the first time.
