Taking into account the unique features of digital devices and the highest technical standards, Leica Eyecare offers you a series of lenses to protect the health of your eyes.
Who are the lenses of the Digital series suitable for?
For everyone. It has nothing to do with a person’s age or visual impairment, but rather the time they spend in front of screens and their ability to accommodate on a continuous basis.
This almost permanent focusing leads to eye fatigue, meaning blurred vision, dry eyes, headache and neck pain.
Screens also emit blue light. A part of its spectrum – blue violet – can damage the retina over the medium term and lead to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Single vision lenses with anti-fatigue effect
Monovid Free-Form Relax lenses were developed for people who have myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism.
The customized lenses with a unique design enable worry-free use of computers, tablets and smartphones.
To counteract accommodation-related fatigue, Leica Eyecare has incorporated an additional prescription area in the lower section of the lens, making the Monovid Free-Form Relax lens the perfect companion for using digital devices.
Near vision lenses for the digital world
The Digivid series was developed for people with presbyopia, whether diagnosed recently or many years ago, as a complement to their progressive lenses.
Developed with the Leica Eyecare Free-Form technology, Digivid features two Profiles for 2 different distances (2 and 4 meters) and is therefore ideal for reading on a smartphone or tablet, working on screens and watching TV.
Anti-blue light
Leica Eyecare’s Eye Safety Material (ESM) solutions offer perfect protection from blue violet light. Thanks to a molecule integrated into the lens material, ESM filters up to 100% of the most dangerous blue light (415 nm) and allows 90% of blue turquoise light (465 nm) to pass through.
Blue turquoise light is very important for the body, particularly when it comes to regulating sleep cycles and mood.
The Eye Safety Material comes as standard in the Digivid Free-Form lens and is optional for the Monovid Free-Form Relax lens.

Leica Eyecare frees you from the everyday concerns of a spectacle wearer. For the first year from the date of purchase, the entire Leica Eyecare Series has an anti-scratch guarantee. Wearers of progressive lenses will also receive replacement lenses in the event of breakage, theft or loss within 72 hours no matter where in Europe. An adaptation guarantee over six months after receiving your lenses is also part of the extensive warranty package.
